The Chevalier helmet was submitted to the Reims registry on September 29th, 1892. The helmet is said to come from the Heidsieck family coat of arms. It was first featured on corks, then on medallions and packaging labels. Redesigned on several occasions, it remains a key emblem of the House.

The Magnificent
Jean de Suarez d’Aulan (1900-1944) was a man of many lives. He was President of the Maison Piper-Heidsieck, a distinguished pilot, a bobsleigh champion, a swimming champion, and a high diving champion. But it was during the Second World War when his many worlds collided. As a member of the French Resistance, he hid parachuted weapons in Piper-Heidsieck’s cellars and waged war in the skies above France.
After dying for his country, he received his final accolades: Chevalier of the Legion of Honour and the Military Cross.
Every challenge he took on, he completed. Because why live life to the fullest when you can live many?
